Component Breakdown (Schema)
TotalCare IT
This document is the schema reference for the TotalCare IT website build. It defines every content collection, global setting, and page component that will exist in the CMS (Sanity). It is prepared by Otterdev before development begins so that the scope of what the CMS will support is agreed before anything is built.
How to read this document
- Pages in scope: Home, Locations (landing pages per area).
- Atomic Components are components that can be used within other components (for example a CTA Button). Each is defined once in the Atomic Components section; wherever another component uses one, its name appears as a link to that single definition.
- Collections live in the Collections section. Each collection has its own schema page; slices and other collections select from them via reference fields.
- Field names in [square brackets] pull their value from Global Settings — TotalCare IT is a single-brand project, so there are no workspace variables.
- Fields are required unless marked (optional).
- Lists show their allowed item counts as (min X, max Y). A ? means the bound is awaiting confirmation — these are exactly the things we'd like your input on during review.
- Each page carries a status badge: Draft (Otterdev is still working on it), Reviewed (ready for your review), Approved (signed off), or Deprecated (removed from scope, kept visible for the record).
What we need from you
During review, please pay particular attention to anything marked with a ? or called out with a ⚠ — these are open scope questions. Everything not flagged is what we will build, exactly as specified.
See the Changelog for what has changed between review rounds.
